Dear Friends, Family, and others willing to help,

Hello, I’m Kathryn Lewark, a resident at Webster House senior living in Palo Alto. I’m working with my neighbors and friends to establish this relief fund.

We are reaching out to share the unfortunate news that our friends Annie and Michael Tyo recently experienced a devasting house fire. Their house and belongings have been lost. Michael sustained painful burns. Kermit, the eldest cat, did not survive.

Annie is the Life Enrichment Specialist at Webster House, a retirement community in Palo Alto. The residents of Webster House are sponsoring this campaign. Michael is self-employed; we do not know how this will affect his ability to work. Annie and Michael are in need of community support to rebuild and stabilize their lives. This campaign aims to help them cover the costs of temporary housing, clothing, essential items and to eventually find a new place to call home again.
