Hello, we are raising funds to support our sister, daughter, and friend Annie after she was involved in a serious car accident that has changed her life in an instant.

As a result of the crash, Annie sustained a fracture to her cervical spine at C6–C7, along with a fracture to her right arm. After spending weeks in hospital and facing multiple complications, she has now reached the rehabilitation stage of her recovery. While this marks important progress, the road ahead remains long and demanding.

Annie currently has limited sensation from the chest down but thankfully has movement and use of her arms and hands. Every day involves intensive therapy, patience, and resilience as she works toward the best recovery possible. Despite the enormity of what she is facing, she continues to meet each challenge with courage and determination.

This accident has impacted not only Annie, but her entire family. Remaining close to her during hospitalisation and rehabilitation has created significant unexpected costs, including travel, accommodation, time away from work, and essential day to day expenses. Looking ahead, Annie will also require ongoing rehabilitation, specialist equipment, and adjustments to support her independence and quality of life.

We are fundraising to help ease the financial strain during this incredibly difficult time, allowing Annie and her family to focus fully on her recovery rather than the growing costs that come with it.
