Help Annette Rebuild After Eaton Canyon Fire
Donation protected
Hi, friends. My name is Catherine in Pasadena. My good friend Annette Carlin lost her home and belongings (and 8 foster dogs) in the Eaton Canyon fire. Annette has spent most of her life dedicated to rescuing, fostering, placing, and training hundreds of dogs. She fostered so many dogs for so many years and helped them find the perfect homes. She is devastated by the loss of her home and belongings, but if you know Annette, it is the loss of dogs that cuts the deepest. In the end she could barely save herself. Everything she knew in life all went to ash.
She is, like many, in a financial bind as she has no family left and insurance canceled her 3 weeks before the fire with no notice. She will have to find alternate housing quickly. Her temporary housing has run up.
Unfortunately, most of her savings was tied up in the house; without having a base of operations, and with so much on her plate, she will not be able to easily work or rescue right now. But she is also too proud to ask for help. I want to do anything I can to help her, so I am starting this GoFundMe to try and get her a little assistance. Please contribute anything you can or even simply share the fundraiser on your social channels. Funds will be used to secure alternate housing, and to begin to replace the most basic belongings like clothing, food, Thank you kindly, friends and loved ones. She just needs help to use the funds to rebuild and continue to rescue again.
