My name is Anne, and I have a dear friend, Christa Nelson (my first friend ever, starting around 65 years ago), who is in need of financial assistance to help correct results from a horribly administered dental procedure.

Earlier this year in February, Christa underwent teeth removal at a local denture franchise. The procedure of removing the 22 teeth was conducted recklessly in 30 minutes, a quarter of the time allotted. The result has been multiple bone spurs throughout her mouth causing constant pain for the past 7 months, difficulty in eating, and unwanted weight loss.

Christa's complaints to the denture franchise have not been received well by the franchise. She has been seen by two oral surgeons who have agreed that the original procedure was mishandled, one saying, "If you had come to us, you would not have had this problem."

Unfortunately, Christa did not have the finances to have sought the services of an oral surgeon. Instead, she went the less costly route of the denture franchise, and with terrible results.

At this point, Christa needs the services of an oral surgeon to properly remove the bone spurs and provide her with properly fitted dentures. Adding to her discouragement, she has learned that her medical insurance will not cover the oral surgeon's fees.

The goal of this GoFundMe effort is to request donations that will be used to pay for an oral surgeon to properly remove the bone spurs and provide her with correctly fitting dentures. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
