On December 18th, Anne and her family made the incredibly difficult decision to stop all treatment as her health took a significant turn. In an update shared on Facebook, they revealed:

*“It really pains me to post this. As many of you know, Anne has been fighting so hard and battling significant weight loss. After consulting with her doctor last week, we discovered that the cancer has spread once again—this time to her spinal fluid. Despite trying every option, it has been determined that the condition is untreatable. Chemotherapy has been discontinued, as further treatment would only extend her life by weeks. With this news, her estimated time left with us is just a few months.

I’m sorry to share this in this way, but as you can imagine, it’s been an incredibly challenging time. Please feel free to visit or reach out—this is a time to make cherished memories. Thank you for your time, love, and support during this difficult journey.”*

Since this announcement, Anne’s condition has unfortunately progressed much more quickly than anticipated. She has now been admitted to the hospital to receive comfort care, ensuring peace and dignity in her final days.
