Annemieke is a beloved Montessori educator with over 20 years of experience, dedicated to nurturing the minds and hearts of children in the Red Hook community. Known for her kind and warm nature, she has built her business from the ground up, offering one of the few childcare options for children aged 2-5 in the area.

Despite challenges, like being told she couldn’t run her business from her rented home, Annemieke has continually found creative ways to care for and educate children. Her passion for the natural world shines through in her teaching, inspiring kids to embrace the outdoors, get dirty, and discover the wonders of life.

Now, Annemieke is working to secure a permanent location for her business. This milestone will not only allow her to reach more children and share her invaluable nature-based education but also provide her with the stability to remain in the community she has served so deeply.
