Hi, my name is Samara - Anne Marie and her daughters are family to me. Anne Marie is an angel, you would have to be to deal with all the things her youngest daughter, Cristina, and I put her through over the years (only kidding...sort of). That's why I know Anne Marie would not bat an eye before stepping up to help any one of the friends, family, colleagues, or even strangers that may be reading this now. That's just the type of person she is. And right now, she needs support and for us to show her that same kindness she would give to any of us.

As you may have heard, Anne Marie was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer. Like the warrior bada** she is, Anne Marie is fighting back hard. Having now undergone surgery and the first of several rounds of chemo. I pray none of you personally know the toll cancer takes on a person physically, mentally, and financially. Words can't describe the injustice and heartbreak when this happens to someone you love.

Taking on the fight with her daughters by her side - Anne Marie is not backing down. But like I said, she needs our help. Insurance doesn't cover near the total cost of her chemo treatments, to say nothing of the other expenses that come with cancer. Additionally, her daughters are taking turns flying from the east coast to be with her so she's not fighting alone.
