Hi friends and family,

I am Anne & Jeff Snyders daughter Mariah and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my parents, who were involved in a serious car accident on 8/28/2024 on their way back from Nevada heading home to California. They had been in Nevada for my step-grandmother’s passing which was hard enough for my dad to process, and while driving home, unfortunately deer ran out on the 395 freeway (basically they were in the middle of nowhere near valleys and mountains) and leading to a severe car accident they could have never imagined but we are blessed they are alive!

An ambulance had rushed my mother to the hospital with a broken back as well as removing a lot of glass from her body, while my father had to remain at the crash location with their two dogs to keep them safe, who were also in the vehicle during this crash with my parents. Tragically, their car was completely totaled, leaving them stranded six hours from home and no towns even close by.

Both of my parents are now facing significant challenges now that they’ve made it back home. And being unable to work due to their injuries and it is going to be a tough road ahead of her for recovery, she also now has no means of transportation since the car is totaled, and are now struggling with basic daily needs. The medical bills are piling up already from multiple hospital visits and ambulance rides, and they are finding it difficult to manage even the simplest tasks, including preparing meals.

We’re setting up this GoFundMe to help cover the immediate expenses they are facing:

* Hospital bills and medical expenses

* Any additional support they may need during their recovery

* Basic groceries and hot meals

* Catchup/replacement of their towing & vehicle
