Why I'm fundraising

My partner Anna is healing from spinal meningitis, ocular shingles & encephalitis. A rare and super painful (& dangerous) combo. We spent our 1st wedding anniversary in a negative pressure room in the hospital……

Neither of us can work for at least another 50 or 60 days. My caretaking of Anna, house maintenance, our household: 2 dogs, & an ancient kitty cat is a full time job, to say the least. I am so thankful that Anna made it through the worst of it, however, she is still very fatigued & weak. Doctors say that it could take a few months for her to fully recover. We need your help to get through the next couple of Vermont winter months, until we are able to return to our jobs.
