I wanted to let everybody know about a serious situation affecting one of our fellow employees. You may not be aware, but our dispatcher, Anya Matyushenko is from Ukraine. Recent events in Ukraine have displaced her entire family. Anya has been working tirelessly at the difficult task of maintaining communications with her family, especially with her mother and sister. Her Mom has made it to the Polish border, but has been tied up there for over 3 days in what we can only imagine is a scene of great peril and chaos. Try to imagine what it would be like if you were alone in our secure nation while your family was thousands of miles away facing the uncertainty of losing everything and you were helpless to assist - very few of us could even begin to understand.

We’ve made the decision, as a location, to set up a ‘GoFundMe’ account in Anya’s name. All of your donations would be used to assist her family in not only reaching safety, but to set them up for an indeterminate period in Poland, elsewhere in Europe, or even potentially here in the U.S., until they can return home. We are all part of each other’s extended family – I ask that you give whatever you can afford to assist in this most worthwhile effort.
