Hi my name is Felix Andalon and I am fundraising for my daughter Annabel. She recently moved 5 hours away from home to attend UC Davis. She’s worked really hard throughout the past few years to save up for college by working 2 jobs, engraving mirrors, and selling her artwork, all while maintaining a 4.25 gpa as a student athlete. If you know her already, you know that she’s a very determined hard worker who has a big heart and was unfortunately taken advantage of. A few days ago she was contacted by a person who claimed to be a Professor about an internship; she was directed to send money in order to pay for supplies, all with being reassured of being reimbursed. This ended up being a complete scam and as devastating as it is, she lost a total of $6,500. The bank and local police have been contacted and because the transaction disputes were denied, all of her hard-working money is gone. This on top of being a full time student while also working a part time job, has put a mental toll on her. I’m reaching out and asking for any help to raise her money back, whether it’s donating or simply sharing.
