Help Anna Stay At Mizzou!

Hi everyone! My name is Eden Chaban, and I write on behalf of my best friend Anna Thompson. Anna is an extremely ambitious, smart and driven young woman who hasn’t been dealt the easiest cards in life. Anna attends the University of Missouri with me, and we live in the same sorority house together. Anna initially signed a lease for school housing this year with the means to pay for it, but due to life circumstances, she has been struggling to pay her bills due to already having debt. Anna is an incredibly hard working person; upon being a full time student and in a sorority, she also works two jobs and pays for most of her education on her own already. Most people don’t know that Anna is even struggling financially because she is such a joy to be around; you would never know that this has been a stressor in her life unless she has expressed it, because she feels that talking about it burdens others. Because she is so important to us, it has been so hard to watch her struggle for the past month to make ends meet. She is overwhelmed and we are really proud that she has expressed to her friends that she needs help, because we want to do anything in order for Anna to be able to stay at college with us. Anna is studying to be a teacher, she would really like to work with middle school kids, and just got placement to shadow at a local middle school. She is so excited for this and has such a natural gift with enriching the lives of others. It would be such a shame if Anna wasn’t able to live out her full potential due to financial circumstances out of her control. Please help us keep this amazing, first generation college student in school so she can accomplish her dreams, and one day, not have to worry about financial stress.
