While driving from Chicago to Minnesota on Monday afternoon, Anna's car, containing the majority of her possessions, caught on fire.

Anna has been traveling for the past few months and was on her way to visit friends and plan her next adventure when her car's engine caught on fire. Thankfully, Anna was able to escape safely but was only able to grab her backpack with important documents and a few photos before the car went up in flames.

Anna just purchased this vehicle a few months ago, and she has been informed by her insurance that this event and related damages will not be covered. She has been in transition in recent months, and this crisis comes on top of a great deal of stress and grief experienced over the past year. While many of the things she has lost in the fire are irreplaceable, she needs funds to get back on her feet.

Your donation will go toward clothes, shoes, personal items that were burned in the fire, as well as going toward the costs of transportation, as her car was totaled.
