On Friday, August 21, in broad daylight, the CSSNV Director of Programs Anna Duffy was a victim of an armed robbery in our building parking lot where her truck and purse with her phones, keys, money, ID, and Driver’s License, were all taken. Fortunately, she was physically unhurt, but the emotional impact will take a long time to get over.
Her truck was found in Vallejo, California, and impounded there. The thieves tore out the battery, radio, took everything not locked down, and completely destroyed the driver’s side door so that it will not close.

The impound fees were $500 alone, and now she does not have a car that is drivable. As a staff member of a vital non-profit, who does not get paid enough anyway, this is a devastating financial blow for Anna.
We would like to help Anna pay all of the costs incurred from this horrible crime, and get enough money together to get another used vehicle or at least a down payment for another vehicle.
Money is tight for everyone, so every little bit helps, even if it is only $5.
Please think about donating and share on your social media platforms! Thank you!!
