Hi,

My name is Crystal. I’m creating this on behalf of my best friend, Anna Held. Their husband, Mike just had to have emergency surgery, putting him out of work for two weeks. He has two more surgeries scheduled, which will have him out of work for upwards of 14 weeks or more. He is a contractor, so he doesn’t get any paid time off. They are going to be out of at least 4 months of his pay. Putting them in a very scary financial position. This is where you all come in.

Anna is currently working two jobs to try to make ends meet. One of the jobs is an educational assistant for a local middle school. With Mike needing to take so much time off of work, and Anna being on mostly a EA’s salary, the medical bills piling up are just the beginning. They are needing help to get through the next few months, paying their actual bills and mortgage and making sure they can get the groceries they need, especially with two kids starting college in the fall.

The amount we are asking for is everything they would need to supplement his work for the few months he will be in recovery. This would get them through the hardest times, making sure all bills can be paid, their house payments stay up to date, and they can feed themselves and their kids until he can return to work.

If you have ever known Mike and Anna, then you know why we are all trying desperately to help them. And you know why we all should rally and do whatever we can to help keep them afloat while Mike has the surgeries he needs and recovers. These are the nicest humans and are so worthy of this help. They help everyone else when others are in need. It’s our turn to help them. Please, any amount, all the shares. Whatever you can do will mean so much!!
