A couple of weeks ago, Anna, Patrick, and their best friend and roommate Alex (all dear friends of mine) had to leave their home after it was flooded during the sudden and intense storm that hit Austin on May 28. The storm brought high winds and heavy rain that overwhelmed the area in a matter of minutes. Their house was hit hard, and the damage was beyond repair.

They lost nearly everything: beds, clothes, food, most of their furniture, and countless personal items. Patrick and Alex, who are both working musicians, also lost some important gear they rely on for work. Now, they’re facing the difficult task of starting over—while navigating the emotional and financial toll of such a sudden loss.

This fundraiser is here to help them take those first steps toward rebuilding—covering basics like clothes, furniture, temporary housing, and replacing essential gear. Every bit helps, and even small donations make a meaningful difference.
