I would love to go to the Dominician Republic to spread the Word of God and serve God, as well as glorify Him through my actions, as I work to help their people in any way I can. I had a life changing experience when I was revealed the glory of God, and from then on, I have wanted

nothing more than to share that same experience with others. I was gifted indescribable joy and peace and I would want every single person on this earth to be able to know what that feeling is like. The Bible is so clear what our purpose is for being on this earth and while I try my best to fulfill His purpose, this is just one more opportunity for me to do that. 1 Corinthians 12:27 says, “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it”. Something that has always

brought me the most joy in life, and has led me to choose my career in nursing, is helping and

serving others. There is nothing that brings me more joy and is truly fulfilling than when I get to serve others. I have always had a passion and a need to make others happy, comfortable, and at peace. Even in moments of doubt when I’m unsure of how to help, I look to God and pray to Him to make it clear on how I can better serve Him and help others. Despite my uncertainty, I almost always have peace because I know God will make it clear and has given me all that I need to be able to fulfill His purpose for me. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. I will continue to pray that God will open the right doors for me if this is what He wants.
