Help Anna Lowe Fight Brain Tumor and Stroke

Story

In January of this year, my loving mother Anna Lowe was diagnosed with a large meningioma surrounding her carotid artery. After years of battling migraines, vision loss, and seizures, she underwent surgery on the 14th of February, 2023. During her surgery, she suffered a major stroke along with severe brain swelling, leaving her having to fight for her life in a Neuro-Intensive Care Unit. She is on full life support and ventilation, and will need more surgeries to survive as she fights the complications of her surgery. Our family will lose insurance this month, and we will need to purchase cobra insurance to be able to avoid mass medical debt. We need as much support as we can for our family of 5 to be able to afford insurance, medical bills, home bills, and necessities. My mother is the most kind, loving, and vibrant woman I have ever met. She is 55 years old and holds degrees in journalism and East European studies from the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. She is married to her loving husband of 23 years and has three children including my older brother Alex, my twin brother Zach, and me. She has an incredibly long and hard journey ahead of her, including a multitude of surgeries, therapies, testing, and continued home care upon discharge. She is in very critical condition, and it could take months for her to be able to leave the hospital.
