My name is Anna, and I’m raising funds to help my husband Jeff and me get through a very difficult time. Jeff has been in a nursing home for the past eight months to help him learn to walk again after a serious health setback. Jeff's recovery has been hindered by the fact that he's a dialysis patient. He had a failed kidney transplant in 2018 that further compromised his health. The extended stay has brought on a wave of medical bills and ongoing health expenses for both of us. The costs have quickly added up, and we’re struggling to keep up with everything.

On top of the medical expenses, our car broke down and the repairs are more than we can afford right now. Without reliable transportation, I haven’t been able to visit Jeff in the nursing home or get to important appointments. We’ve also received disconnection notices for our utilities, which has added even more stress to an already overwhelming situation.
