Help Anna Get Surgery & Recover from a Severe Arm Injury

Hi, my name is Anna, and I’m reaching out with deep humility and hope.

Almost four months ago, I suffered a serious humerus fracture. Despite trying everything to heal naturally, my arm never recovered—and now I urgently need a complex surgery to repair the damage and stop the pain.

The procedure I need is called Open Reduction and Internal Fixation (ORIF) of a humeral nonunion, with a possible iliac crest bone graft harvest. It’s the only chance I have to restore function, relieve the pain, and avoid permanent disability.

Since the injury, I’ve been in constant pain and completely unable to work. I didn’t have insurance at the time, and over the last several months, all of my emergency savings went toward medical bills, rent, and basic living expenses. Now I’m at a point where I may have to postpone the surgery due to financial uncertainty—and that’s terrifying.

I'm experiencing severe anxiety every day—not only about the surgery itself, but also about how I’ll afford housing and food during recovery. The stress of not knowing if I’ll have a safe place to stay before and after surgery is overwhelming.
