Anna is 32, a fighter, and the love of my life. She’s battling stage 4 sarcoma and enduring one of the most brutal chemo regimens there is — AIM. It’s so aggressive that patients can only do as many cycles as their hearts and bodies can physically handle. She’s now in the middle of cycle 3, and it has already pushed her to the edge.
Since July 12th, we’ve been hospitalized five times. She’s needed three blood transfusions already, gone through her 14th surgery, and in cycle 1 almost died when her heart rhythm crashed into what’s called Torsades (TDP). If she hadn’t been in the ER at that exact moment, she wouldn’t be here.
Through it all, Anna keeps fighting. Hours after having surgical staples removed, she walked straight into chemo the same afternoon — because she refuses to back down.
The truth is: every single time I’ve tried to go back to work, we’ve ended up right back inpatient. I’ve had no chance to bring in income. Our credit is maxed, our savings are gone, and we’re down to surviving moment by moment. EBT barely stretches, gas and food costs pile up while I stay by Anna’s side, and there’s no safety net left.
That’s why we’re asking for help again — this time, not for extras, but for survival.
We’re tired, scared, and burned out — but Anna is still fighting. And I’ll keep fighting with her as long as I have breath.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting us in this nightmare. Your help is what keeps us standing.
With love,
Sean & Anna
