Hi! my name is Anna. I am a 34 year old mom of 2 from Denver, Colorado. Last year I was diagnosed with grade 4 astrocytoma glioma, a form of brain cancer. It’s been quite the adventure, and definitely not one I ever expected! My wife and I have faced our share of challenges, but nothing could have prepared us for this twist. I used all my savings to cover brain surgery and treatment, quickly reaching my insurance deductible and max out of pocket. While I was recovering, our heater failed and needed to be replaced, and shortly after, our water heater went out as well. All of my life savings are gone, and I have a wife and two young children who depend on me. I never imagined facing this at 34 years old.

Now, the financial strain is overwhelming. Every dollar raised will go directly toward my medical bills. I have no idea how I can pay this year's deductible and max out of pocket, which I know I will hit. My last MRI was extremely expensive, and I need them every two months. One month of chemo was also very costly. My wife is the only one able to work right now, and she is working two full-time jobs that do not offer health insurance. We are paying for private insurance, which is a huge monthly expense, and I simply do not have the money to pay for my medical care.
