Help Anna & Corey Avoid Losing Their Home After a Medical Emergency
Hi, my name is Ivy & I’m organizing this fundraiser for Anna & Corey.
On September 10, 2025, Corey suffered a severe seizure that led to hospitalization. He was in the ICU & he was in a coma on a ventilator. After that, he was hospitalized again for internal bleeding that required a blood transfusion. These emergencies created a major income shock for their household.
Corey was out of work for over four months without pay. Although Corey was able to return to work, his condition has made it impossible for him to resume his previous schedule. He has had to return on a a more part-time basis, working fewer hours than before in order to reduce stress and support his recovery.
Anna also had to take about a month off work unpaid & then became his full-time caregiver while trying to keep working. Between lost income & medical bills piling up, they fell behind fast.
Right now, Anna & Corey are in a critical financial situation & they are at real risk of losing their home. They are actively working with their mortgage servicer on a hardship option, but they still need help making payments toward the past due balance to protect their home. They can manage smaller payments, but they can’t produce a large lump sum fast enough without community support.
Funds raised will go toward:
• Mortgage payments & the past due balance
• Any required fees tied directly to bringing the loan back into good standing
