My name is Anna, and I’ve been living in Los Angeles for the past eight years with my beloved dog, Fritzi.

I rented a small house in Altadena, a beautiful middle-class neighborhood that I truly loved calling home.

While I was in Hamburg, Germany visiting family for Christmas and New Year's, my home burned to the ground on January 8, 2025, along with my car and everything I owned. The entire block was wiped out by the Eaton Fire, and most of Altaden has suffered immense damage.

Although I had insurance, the road to recovery is long, and there are immediate expenses I need help with.

Thank you to Andreas for starting this GoFundMe. It’s very, very difficult for me to ask for help, but your support means so much to me and to others affected by this tragedy. I also hope to support other Altadena fire victims and help my neighbors as we all work to rebuild our lives.
