My sister Anna is 34 years young—a devoted wife to her husband Andrew and a loving mom to three beautiful children.

Nine years ago, her life changed forever when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. After surgery and chemotherapy, she was blessed to become cancer-free and move forward with her life. That season, however, deeply changed both Anna and Andrew. It set them on a path toward holistic health and taught them something they would never forget—life is fragile, and time is precious.

Because of that, they chose not to wait to start their family. They wanted to live fully, love deeply, and embrace every moment they were given.

Two years ago, while pregnant with their third baby, their world was shaken once again—Anna was diagnosed with breast cancer.

What should have been one of the most joyful seasons of their lives quickly became a living nightmare. Instead of planning for a new baby, they were forced into heartbreaking conversations, overwhelming decisions, and an incredibly uncertain future. Wanting to protect their unborn child, they chose to pursue alternative, naturopathic care rather than treatments that could put their baby at risk.

More than two years into this fight, the journey has only grown more difficult. In January, Anna was hospitalized with a collapsed lung caused by a severe buildup of fluid in her chest. She underwent a procedure to have a catheter placed and, after a week in the hospital, was able to return home. The cancer has continued to advance, and the weight of this battle is now more than they can carry on their own.

They have reached a point where they know they need help. In hopes of giving Anna the best possible chance at healing—and keeping their family together—they have begun working with a naturopath who is guiding them through a comprehensive, personalized approach.

As part of this effort, Anna traveled to Mexico to focus fully on her new protocol and recovery. While there, her symptoms improved significantly, and she returned home noticeably stronger. However, since returning, her symptoms have resurfaced, and she is once again struggling with pain and breathing difficulties.

With Anna unable to work, and Andrew needing to reduce his hours to care for her and their children, the financial strain has become overwhelming. They have been relying on their savings to get by, but those resources are now nearly exhausted.

Raising three young children is challenging for any family—but facing this kind of crisis at the same time has made daily life incredibly heavy.
