If you know Ann Griffin (Rooney to some), you know two of the most important things in her life are her career and her friends. She's lucky enough to be one of the few who, after 41 years, still loves her job.

On June 4th, there was an unfortunate accident at one of her appointments where she and a horse got into a bit of a wrestling match, and to no surprise, the horse won. X-rays revealed that she has a broken tibia, definitely needs surgery, and will be out of work for at least 4 months.

In most careers, this wouldn't matter as much, especially post-COVID days where a lot of people work from home. For her, however, this means 4 months completely out of work. Not only that, but as some of you may know, summer is event season in the horse world and entails, leads to it being her busiest season. While Rob (her husband, also a farrier) will try to cover, he is 63 and doesn't have the time nor physical capabilities to do everything.

Given the loss of income she'll have over the next few months, along with the medical bills, we are asking for a little help to get them through this. We understand this is a busy travel season and not everyone will be able to give, but anything will go a long way.
