In October 2025, after months of uncertainty and medical appointments, I was diagnosed with stage four endometrial cancer.

Needless to say, I was overwhelmed. Despite this, I soldered on - first, through four rounds of chemotherapy, then a major surgery, which included the removal of a large tumor and cyst and a full hysterectomy.

Recovery was challenging, particularly after being laid off and spending over half a year unemployed. Fortunately, I returned to work in May and have now begun a two year treatment for immunotherapy (Keytruda).

While it’s helping my cells stay strong, it's also presented me with new challenges. My eyesight has diminished, requiring me to purchase new glasses. I've lost 30% - and 40% - of my hearing in each individual ear, respectively, and must get hearing aids, which my insurance doesn't cover. My white and red blood cell counts are slowly improving, but the medical bills keep coming.

I've done all I can on my current income, but after exhausting my savings, I have very little left at the end of each month.

I'm asking for your help to continue making the 100-mile round trip drives to Nashville for my treatments, to purchase the items that will help me manage side effects, and to pay for ongoing medical expenses. Any gift would be a blessing and would help me continue my fight against cancer with renewed hope and strength.
