Hello, my name is Rev. Joseph DeMarzo, a priest for the Diocese of Paterson NJ. In recent times my older sister, Ann DeMarzo, her husband Gary, and my three nephews have experienced great calamity and displacement from their home. Through an unfortunate incident involving their boiler, diesel fuel fumes have covered their entire home, making it uninhabitable because of the toxic fumes. The entirety of the interior of their home, including all their personal belongings, have become covered in a layer of toxic chemicals. At the present they are displaced, living with family members until they can find a new place to stay. Both are working parents with three children, struggling to make ends meet, with the new financial stress of finding a new home and the need to replace basic goods such as clothing and food, etc.

I extend this plea for help to you, if in your generosity you would be willing to donate to assist my sister and her family get back on her feet, in these days in which already are stressful due to our economic status and her present crisis regarding her living situation. It has been a particularly heart breaking situation, with the uncertainty of the future looming over my sister about how to find a way forward for her family, but also the lack of normalcy during this Christmas season.

sister and her husband to provide basic necessities for themselves and their children, especially as they consider a new housing option.
