Help Ann and Her Family Through This Uncertain Time

On April 23rd, Ann had a seizure in the parking lot of her job. She was then transported to Fairview Hospital in Princeton, where she was given a CT and transferred to Southdale Hospital for an MRI with contrast. They found a mass in her brain on the front left side of her head. For the next 2 weeks, she went in for more tests and was placed on a steroid and anti-seizure medication until she underwent surgery on May 15th. Ann spent 3 weeks with the people closest to her before heading into a craniotomy to remove as much of the tumor as they could without causing a stroke or losing her ability to talk. The surgery went extremely well, and she has been resting and recovering at home since Saturday, May 17th. They haven’t officially said the “C” word, but based on what the surgeon said, that is what it looks like; praying for a miracle. We won’t know officially until early next week when she meets with her oncologist at the cancer center.

I am raising money for the most stubborn woman I know. She doesn’t want anyone to help her with anything or send her money, but needs all the help she can get right now to ensure that the kids have everything they need for the coming months of uncertainty. She is the pickiest eater; therefore, we will not be doing a meal train, but we appreciate the offer of rides, snacks, and anything else that people have dropped at the house so far. I will update if she decides she needs help with anything non-monetary.
