Help Anjali Walk Again: Donate to Her Healing Journey

Hello, my name is Ninan, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit for my sweet cat, Anjali.
Anjali is a beautiful four-year-old Bengal with a heart of gold. She’s always been the most trusting, playful, and chatty companion - her purrs and meows have filled the lives of everyone with warmth and laughter.
Three weeks ago, her life changed in an instant. I found Anjali outside my home, crying out for help. She had been hit by a bike and, despite her injuries, managed to drag herself back home. Once she saw she was safe, she cried until we rushed outside to her side.
At the emergency vet, I was given devastating news: Anjali had suffered two fractures-one in her right hip, one in her left-and a fracture in her spine. The vet told me she had no sensations in her hind legs and couldn’t control her bladder or bowels. They recommended putting her down unless I could afford a £7,000 surgery to repair her spine.
I refused to give up on Anjali. She had dragged herself home knowing I would look after her.
I got a second opinion the next day, and the new vet saw what I saw: spark of life and resilience in Anjali. They told me there was hope-she could regain mobility in her right leg, and, with luck, some in her left as well. During that first week, I took her to the vet every day for fluid drips because she couldn’t eat or drink on her own. I hand-fed her, comforted her, and watched as, little by little, her strength returned.
Now, three weeks later, Anjali is eating on her own, meowing and purring from her little bed , and even trying to walk with the little strength she has. She’s on cage rest for a month, bravely working to regain her mobility.
Why She Needs Your Help
Anjali’s journey is far from over. She still needs ongoing vet visits, painkillers, and, hopefully, surgery to give her the best chance at walking again. The costs are overwhelming-far more than I can manage alone. Every day, I see her fighting to heal, and I want to give her every chance to live the happy, active life she deserves.
How You Can Help
Your support will go directly to:
Vet bills and follow-up appointments
Painkillers and medication
Physical therapy and rehabilitation
Surgery costs if it is required, if she is strong enough
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving Anjali her life back. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing her story with others.
Anjali has shown incredible resilience, patience, and trust through her pain. Please help me give her the future she so bravely fights for every day.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
Ninan & Anjali
