Hi, my name is Aniyah. I’m 19 years old, and on May 13th, I lost my mom unexpectedly. She was my safe place, my biggest supporter, and the only person I could always count on. Losing her has flipped my entire world upside down.

Since then, I’ve been trying to hold everything together, not just for myself, but for my two little sisters. We were all living together in our family home, but after my mom passed, everything changed. Her house and our sense of security… all of it is up in the air now. And on top of that, I’ve been facing the pain of being separated from my sisters due to custody issues, something my mom never would’ve wanted.

I’m planning to move to Edmond to continue college and start a new chapter. But between grieving, fighting to stay close to my sisters, and trying to figure out what to do with the house, I’m overwhelmed, emotionally and financially.
