Hello — I’m Aniyah (also known as Muva Nature / Niyah’s Garden).

For years, I followed the path I was taught: college right after high school, a steady corporate career, and the pride of being the first in my family to graduate and build financial stability. But that path also came at a cost — my creativity, my body, and my sense of purpose. I burned out quietly for a long time, until I finally listened to the voice that wouldn’t stop calling me back to myself: you are an artist, a healer, and you are meant to create differently.

I’m now stepping fully into that truth.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Nonprofit Management, along with my MBA, to intentionally build the skills needed to create sustainable, community-rooted healing spaces. This path is directly aligned with my long-term vision of founding and leading Black Eden — a nonprofit sanctuary for Black healing, birth, and creativity.

At the same time, I am deepening my calling into traditional midwifery. This is a path rooted in ancestral knowledge, embodied care, and community-based support — one that centers the lived experiences and autonomy of Black women and families.

Alongside this work, I am building Muva Nature’s Garden — a creative and healing studio space in Marietta, Georgia. This space will serve as both a personal and communal sanctuary: a place where I can write, record music, package herbal products, offer ancestral healing sessions, and host rituals, workshops, and gatherings. It will also provide affordable, accessible studio space for other local Black and Queer artists and practitioners.

This studio is more than a workspace. It is a living practice — where art, healing, and care exist together.

I’m asking my community for support in bringing this space to life. Your contributions will go directly toward securing and preparing the studio, including: first month’s rent and deposit, creating a clean and safe herbal preparation area, basic recording and mic equipment, shelving and furniture, safety upgrades, and initial supplies for my herbal care line.

Your support will also help sustain me as I move through this transition — allowing me to invest in my education, build this space with intention, and continue my training and practice in traditional midwifery.

Muva Nature’s Garden is the seed of a much larger vision: Black Eden.

Black Eden will be a land-based nonprofit sanctuary for Black healing, birth, and creativity. A place where midwives, artists, and community members can return to the land, rest, learn, and create together. My goal is to build a space that offers retreats, artist residencies, ancestral birth care, and community-centered programming that pours back into our collective wellness.
