Anita, my best friend, has always been a source of light and kindness in the lives of everyone who knows her. In October, her world changed suddenly when she was involved in a serious car accident that left her with both legs broken. Since then, Anita has been in the hospital, facing a long and challenging recovery. What makes this even harder is that her husband and son live over an hour away, making it difficult for them to be by her side as often as they would like.
