My name is Emily, and I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to help my amazing aunt, Anita Quint, who is facing one of the toughest battles in her life. Over the past 5 or so years, she has experienced extreme vertigo with headaches and has gone to countless doctors seeking help to find out what was wrong. After many, many doctor visits and tests, they were able to identify a Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) leak among other complications. This has made her life so much harder to enjoy. She’s the kindest, most thoughtful person I know, and she deserves so much. She will be going to an out of state Mayo Clinic this month to do more tests and to try and get this CSF leak fixed among other things so that she can go back to enjoying life every day. The necessary evaluation and treatment are costly, and despite having health insurance, the associated expenses—including medical care, travel, accommodation, and other necessities- are beyond her current financial means. Please, if you can and are willing to help her with monetary assistance, that would be greatly appreciated.
