Help Anita Fight Stage 4 Lung Cancer

My name is Savannah Williams and my best friend is Sierra Prosser. I’ve known them both since the 1st grade. They are practically my family without blood. If you know Anita Prosser from Circle K in San Carlos Park, you know she is the sweetest, most hard-working, and caring woman around. She has always been the most welcoming and greets everyone with a smile.

Unfortunately, Anita has been slowly struggling to find the strength to make it to work for the past few months and decided to head to the emergency room about a month ago to make sure everything was alright; it was nothing but unfortunate. Gulf Coast Hospital in Ft. Myers ended up finding some abnormalities and sent her to an oncologist for further testing. She was recently told her diagnosis: it's stage four lung cancer and it traveled to her lymph nodes.

Her health insurance is not covering most expenses, but she has gotten a grant through Lee Health. The chemotherapy treatments, which are $90k each, as well as the port the doctors will put in her chest for the chemo treatments, are also several thousand dollars. The current medications she’s having to take via IV are Keytruda, and the chemotherapy drugs are Taxol and Carboplatin. These are causing her to have nausea and low energy. We are still asking for some help with medical copays and funds to keep her comfortable during this tough time with her health. She is a hard-working individual, and due to the cancer, her 40-hour work weeks have turned to only about 12-16 hours a week. Her husband Shane has also been trying to work, but taking care of her has been hard and time-consuming, unfortunately. We are raising money to help Anita with her doctor appointments, bills, and lack of work. She is like a mother to me, and we couldn't be more blessed to have her. She has helped me throughout my adolescence to adulthood. I’m very blessed to have her, and so are her kitties!She is a very loved member of our San Carlos community and our close family.

She is the best mom, bonus mom, and person in general. We are blessed for her to have an optimistic future. Her first chemotherapy treatment started June 26th, 2025. ♥️
