Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

Earlier this month, our beloved Anita Pochop received the unfortunate news that she has been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer, metastatic to the bone. Anita, an amazing wife, mother, and sister, is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Hendricks Regional Hospital. As you can imagine, the journey ahead is challenging, both physically, emotionally, and financially.

The costs associated with Anita's treatments and medications are expensive, and unfortunately, not all of them are covered by insurance. Although she receives SSI, the monthly amount is very modest and does not come close to covering her extensive medical expenses. Anita's husband, Troy, is employed full-time, but any additional time off that he takes under the FMLA will be unpaid.

Anita has always been a pillar of strength and love for those around her. Now, it's our turn to stand by her side and offer support in her time of need. We are asking for your help to ease the financial burden so Anita can focus on what truly matters—fighting and beating cancer.
