Hi everyone,

Maria Cristina and myself (Ivan Macri) as residents of the City of Brampton and active members of Mattamy-Mount Pleasant North, Brampton (Facebook Community group) have created this GoFundMe campaign to help a mother and her 2 kids following the request of members of the community and with the permission of Annisha.

Thank you for your interest in helping Annisha , Aryan and Avi to start again in Canada. Annisha lived here in Canada years ago and moved to the USA with her family. A month ago she is back with her 2 kids to start her life again in Canada after her divorce. Two weeks ago she rented a basement apartment in Brampton and the landlord did not provide a contract and asked her to pay him cash. She trusted the landlord and she agreed to this conditions due to the shortness of rental availability in Brampton and more importantly to put a safe roof over their heads in a short period of time. On Thursday Sept 23, her landlord forced her to leave the apartment and locked her out ending up homeless.

With the help of the community she is staying in a hotel and hopefully she is getting a new place to live soon. Right now she is moving her belongings out of the basement apartment and getting a storage room. We are asking the community to help this family to have a fresh start and to help cover some of her necessities that come along with finding a new home.
