Hello, my name is Anisa Richardson. I am a student at Spelman College, and I was accepted to embark on a Service-Learning Trip to Liberia! There, I will be experiencing Liberian culture and history. The most important part of this trip is giving back to the children. In Liberia, there is a high illiteracy rate, and I plan to go on this trip to help children learn how to read and write.

For my service, I will be visiting an orphanage and a school to promote literacy, numeracy, and hygiene practices amongst Liberian children. I will also be assisting in light refurbishment and construction of the school.

I will also visit the Liberia House of Representatives and Senate, where I will meet government officials and learn about Liberia governance.

I am very excited to have received this opportunity! I am looking for some help to pay for the costs of this trip. Any donation will help. Thank you very much!
