I never imagined I’d be writing this, but our home caught fire in what we now know was a freak accident caused by a closed fire pit. Within minutes, everything was gone.

We had just moved into what we thought would be our forever home, a dream we worked hard to make real. I live there with my husband, our three children, and our beloved cat, who thankfully survived, but now needs urgent veterinary care.

We lost nearly all of our personal belongings, including irreplaceable memories like our son’s medals and school keepsakes. We’re now displaced and trying to piece together our next steps while caring for our children and navigating this shock.

We’re asking for support to help with:
