Anijah has spent her life contributing to others in need and fighting for justice. Now, after surviving a death-defying crash when an SUV ran her over as she crossed the street, at a crosswalk, she needs our financial support to cover expenses while she heals.

When the SUV sped through the intersection on July 4, 2025 and ran Anijah over, she suffered multiple, severe injuries, including:

Two fractured ribs, which required surgery with metal plates

A punctured lung, treated with a chest tube to help her breathe

A fractured orbital bone (bone surrounding the eye)

A level 4 liver laceration, which required two emergency surgeries to stop internal bleeding

Chipped teeth

Lesions and bruises all over her hands, legs, and face, with significant injury on the entire right side of her body

Shock and mental health trauma

Anijah has been in the ICU since the SUV hit her. Her recovery will be long and incredibly difficult.

Anijah is a passionate dancer, crochet artist, and waitress. These injuries make it impossible for her to work. On top of her medical crisis, she’s now facing a complete loss of income.
