Help Ani become a teacher! Support a local artist in overcoming barriers causing the teacher shortage.

 

There is a major teacher shortage that has only gotten worse with the pandemic. One of the biggest barriers for people becoming teachers is student teaching, which requires 40-50 hours of UNPAID work per week for 4-5 months.

 

Ani has been working 3 jobs while doing coursework and still needs funds to be able to complete the program. Taking on this program will be a HUGE challenge since it’s not feasible to work on top of student teaching. Ani has already exhausted all other options and financial aid only covers a fraction of the cost of living in Seattle.

 

Ani was a refugee from Armenia and doesn't have any extra financial support, so anything you can contribute will go a long way. If you're unable to help financially, shares and promotion are appreciated as well.

 

Her goal is to raise $8,000 USD to cover 4-5 months' of living costs (on an extremely frugal budget).
