Angus (my dog) was at the groomer and fell off of the grooming table, badly breaking his leg. He has had surgery, severe infection, and is almost out of the woods, but will need another surgery to remove implants as they are infected. The groomer had insurance, but they said that they are closing the claim at $18000. The bill is $26000 so far, and I am on disability so I cannot work "extra hours" to make up the difference. The groomer only cares about herself, to the point of blaming my dog for falling. On a personal note, I hate this. Really hate it. It is very hard for me to ask for help, but I am running out of options and need to be able to pay for the next surgery. No, I don't have pet insurance. I have maxxed out my credit cards to pay for his care. If you are able to help, thank you so much. If you are not, please don't. I am well aware that these can be hard times for many.
