Hi. My name is April Massey. I am fund raising for Angie Smith, my dear friend down on her luck. She’s had a rough 2021, as I’m sure many of us have too. She lost her job. After several months of looking she did find work that paid enough to get by. (Barely). Eight weeks ago she fell and broke her ankle in 2 places. Thank God for church health center because she doesn’t have insurance. The dr put her in 3 different casts hoping it would heal enough on its own. He really didn’t want to do surgery because she has diabetes, sleep apnea and kidney issues., but said she would not be able to walk without it. She also just found out she has bleeding behind her eyes. Her rent is $800 a month and utilities average $250. They feel like she will be laid up for another 2 months or more after surgery, depending healing time due to diabetes. January rent isn’t paid., and she will probably need help with February and March expenses. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. God bless you all. Thank you
