Please help Angie Scott get out of homelessness and find shelter for the winter. Angie is mentally disabled and was previously cared for by her mother and husband for most of her life. In May of 2022 both her husband and her mother died of heart failure within weeks of one another and Angie was left to fend for herself while picking up the pieces. She’s been without housing since that time and now is staying in the woods with nowhere to go. She has two puppies who she loves and needs desperately for emotional support but she can’t have them at the shelter. In July, Angie was selected to receive section 8 but they are so backed up that she’s still waiting for her voucher to be disbursed. Angie is raising funds to help her get into temporary housing while she seeks permanent housing. She has no means of getting electricity, heat or water and it’s started to get cold.
