Dear Friends and Family,

I’m Angela Dawn (Angie to most of you), most recently of Pacific Palisades, California, by way of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Many of you have been asking how to help after the Palisades fire. For those who may not know, the place I had moved into a month ago in Pacific Palisades was completely lost in the fire on January 7, 2025. Gratefully, I was able to get my cats and a suitcase of some clothing, my violin, and laptop.

I have the most amazing friends and family who have been reaching out to see how they can help me. I love you all and am so grateful for you all! I was really hesitant to do this, but I’m not sure how long or if I may be able to receive other assistance I have applied for with other sources.

I think my most immediate need is funding to help with a new place for me and the cats, and replacing clothing, shoes, music recording equipment, cat items, and food.

This photo was taken a day before the tragic fire at Will Rogers State Beach in Pacific Palisades off the PCH. It is so hard to wrap my head around it that pretty much everything from this point in the Palisades down to Malibu past Duke’s is gone.

I know so many have been affected and went through this traumatic experience. But as soon as I am able to regain my stability, I have so many ways I want to give back and help as well for those in similar circumstances.

I often think in times like these where we go through such catastrophes there is so much beauty in how it brings us together and we show up for one another and the perspective it gives one on what is truly important and there for you when everything else is taken away. ❤️ I love you all and appreciate you more than you can know for checking on me and asking how you could help.
