Help Angie Present Her NASA Research in D.C.

Hello! My name is Angie and I'm a senior at Escondido High School, California. Last summer, I was a NASA STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) intern as a part of the Moon Team at UT Austin's Center for Space Research. With 6 members from all over the U.S., we designed a long-term lunar base research habitat and in situ experiments. My focus was on the lunar base location on the lunar south pole, which included research on Permanently Shadowed Regions, topography, illumination, and water-ice. Simply put, it was the best experience of my life. I 100% knew I would pursue astrophysics after this.
My team submitted our research to the American Geophysical Union (AGU). Our research was accepted, and we'll present it in Washington, D.C. However, paying for the travel from California to D.C. and the hotel fees is a financial burden for me. Not only must I go, but a chaperone--my mom--must go with me, which is extra fees. I would greatly appreciate any financial support I can get for this opportunity to present my research and network with other scientists.
