**Support Our Beloved ER Nurse in Her Battle Against Breast Cancer**

We come together today to support an extraordinary individual, our dear friend and colleague, Angela Berrios or Angie. As many of you know, Angie has dedicated her life to serving the community as a registered nurse in the Emergency Room here in Chicago. She is not just a healthcare professional; she is a beacon of hope, a compassionate caregiver, and a compassionate soul whose kindness has touched countless lives.

Recently, Angie received the heart-wrenching news that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This diagnosis has come as a shock to all of us who know and love her. As she faces this daunting challenge, we want to rally around her and provide the support she needs during this difficult time.

Angie is known not just for her exceptional skills in the ER, but also for the warmth and empathy she extends to her patients and their families. She has continually gone above and beyond, not only caring for the sick and injured but also building strong relationships with Chicago Fire Department firefighters and paramedics and Chicago Police Department officers, who admire and respect her deeply.

As Angie begins her treatment journey, she will be unable to work, resulting in financial strain and uncertainty. Medical bills, everyday expenses, and the loss of income add considerable stress to an already challenging time. Thats why we are asking for your support.
