Help Angie & Jonah house fire

Donation protected
On May 3rd, 2022, at 6 AM, fire alarms in the apartment building located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, went off. Several fire crews from surrounding communities were called to help control and contain the blaze. Despite their best efforts, the apartment building was severely damaged and deemed uninhabitable and unsafe. Thankfully, everyone got out of the building safely, but the tenants had lost all their possessions.

One of the building tenants, Angie and Jonah, are daughter and son-in-law of our dear friends Sherra Lee and David. The kids recently moved to BC for work, and like many young couples, the budget is tight when starting a new life. Unfortunately, they didn't have insurance and are now staying temporarily in a hotel that the government is providing for only a few days. They have not been allowed back into their apartment and have only received a small amount of money to purchase a few necessities.

They are grateful that they are safe but still in shock and worried about their loss. As a parent, I'm sure many of us can relate to the worries that their parents have right now.

Any donations to help this wonderful young couple recover would be greatly appreciated.
