Help Angie in Her Fight Against a Rare and Aggressive Cancer
Donation protected
In response to the many kind friends and family who have reached out asking how to help—we are setting up this GoFundMe to support our cousin, Angie. The information below has been provided by her brother, Zack to help explain what Angie is facing and why she needs our help:
My sister Angie Allard is in the fight of her life.
Just days ago, Angie was admitted to the ICU after weeks of struggling with what she thought were severe flu-like symptoms. Scans revealed a devastating and unexpected diagnosis: multiple masses in her brain, chest, and lungs. One of the masses in her brain caused dangerous swelling and significant weakness on one side of her body.
Doctors quickly placed a shunt to relieve pressure on her brain, and soon after performed emergency brain surgery. They were able to remove most of the tumor, which helped reduce the swelling and allowed her to begin working with physical therapy. Angie has now been transferred to a rehabilitation facility, where she’s continuing to work on regaining strength and function.
While we are grateful for each small step forward, her medical team is still waiting on final biopsy results. Early indications point to a rare form of cancer typically seen in children—something her doctors are continuing to investigate. Because of the rarity and complexity of her case, her treatment path remains uncertain.
Right now, there is still so much we don’t know. But as we learn more, we will continue to provide updates and share if any new needs arise.
Angie is strong, resilient, and deeply private—but this has moved incredibly fast, and she is now facing a long road of recovery and care. The emotional and financial strain of this diagnosis is heavy, and she needs our help.
We’ve created this GoFundMe to support Angie directly. All funds raised will go toward:
- Medical expenses not fully covered by insurance
- Specialized care or treatment as her diagnosis becomes clearer
- Transportation, basic needs, and other essential costs during recovery
Every donation, no matter the size, helps lift a bit of the weight she’s carrying. Your support gives Angie the space to focus on healing—and reminds her that she’s not facing this fight alone.
Thank you for your love, your generosity, and your continued prayers. We’re so grateful.
With love and gratitude,
Zack Allard
