Support Angie’s Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer
We are reaching out to ask for your love and support for our sister-in-law, Angie, a warm, strong, and loving 53-year-old wife and mother, who is now facing a lengthy course of treatment.
Angie has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer, which has spread to her stomach and ovaries. The news has been devastating for her and everyone who loves her. She has already started chemotherapy, and the road ahead includes months of intensive treatment, medical appointments, and ongoing care. Since the beginning of July, she has been in the hospital more days than not.
Through it all, Angie is remaining courageous and hopeful — the same loving person she has always been. But her family is struggling to manage the rising medical bills and the financial toll this is taking.
Her husband, Randy, is doing everything he can to care for Angie and support their family, but with Angie unable to work and Randy working a reduced schedule, the cost of treatment is increasing by the day. It’s becoming more than they can handle. Angie's sons Tommy and Josh, are doing their best to stay strong for their mom, but watching her go through this has been incredibly hard.
One of the hardest parts for Angie is not being able to work. She truly loves her job, and not being able to go in every day has been incredibly difficult emotionally. She misses her routine, her coworkers, and the fulfillment that her work gives her. Being forced to step away has only made this time more painful — and it’s one more reason we want to make sure she has the support she needs to focus on healing without the added stress.
We’re starting this GoFundMe to help lift some of that burden and give Angie and her family the support they need during this critical time. Every dollar raised will go toward:
Ongoing chemotherapy and specialist care
Medical bills and prescription costs
Travel expenses to and from treatment
Household bills
Angie has spent her life putting others first. Now, it’s our turn to stand by her. Any amount you can give — no matter how small — will make a difference. If you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing this page with others who may be able to help.
Let’s surround Angie, Randy, Tommy, and Josh with the love, hope, support, and prayers they need to get through this.
